PDC Kiteboarding was founded in 2007 by owner and general manager, Mickey Roy, with the idea of getting away from those "kiteboarding factories" and to make sure you learn the necessary skills and knowledge to become a proficient kiteboarder, have fun and safely enjoy this amazing sport. PDCK is proud to offer the highest standard of kitesurfing courses available in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. With Playa del Carmen Kiteboarding school, clients are guaranteed only the best in instruction, locations and equipment.

PDCK's objectives are to reduce the frustration level associated with learning how to kiteboard and to accelerate your learning curve. To achieve these goals, all our kiteboarding lessons offer one-on-one instruction for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Our team of professional IKO certified and multi langual Instructors are there to help you with your training, making sure you enjoy the best of your kitesurfing experience in our Mexican paradise.

Michael ROY, known as "Mickey" is a Multi-Experienced Water-Man and a Kiteboarding/Scuba diving professional instructor. His Licenses, like his experience came from the most indicate places around the world for each single sport: Snowboarding/Windsurfing in France, Muay Thai in Thailand, Surfing in Indonesia/Mexico, Scuba diving in Honduras/Costa rica, Kiteboarding in Mexico/Spain.....etc.

After living and travelling in more than 25 countries around the world, Mickey decided to settle down in Playa del Carmen, Mexican Riviera Maya, about 8 years ago.

Being an accomplished PADI Scuba Diving Instructor (+6000 logged dives and hundreds of PADI certifications) Mickey and a couple of partners open GEOFISH DIVE CENTER in the heart of Playa del Carmen.

Few years later, Mickey decides to focus a 100% on the KITEBOARDING aspect of his water sports career and open PDC Kiteboarding School, the only Kiteboarding school located and teaching in Playa del Carmen itself. He becomes an experienced IKO Level 2 Instructor and an IKO Representant for Mexico.
